Transformers Movie Leader Deep Desert Brawl Review

He's one big dude. Of course he's just a repaint of the regular Leader Class Brawl but I have to say that I like the new color scheme. The story on the box goes that he got all hoped up on Allspark energy after the events of the movie and wandered off into the desert, changed his color palate to better blend in the new environment and began terrorizing folks. Of course he died in the movie but, oh well.

The light brown with blue highlights really makes him pop more than the original drab green and to be honest most people are probably more used to seeing this type of color on military vehicles at this point in time so it looks pretty natural as well.

As to the toy itself it is a really impressive piece of work. In vehicle mode it approximates this type of tank really well and in robot mode is very powerful looking and armed to the teeth. He gets arm cannons on both arms, blades on his left arm and his legs, two four barrel turret guns behind his shoulders and his heavy tank cannon at his side. The tank cannon is really cool and is mounted to his body via the turret rather than arm mounted like the deluxe version and adds a new dynamic to him that is really interesting. His arms are much less flimsy than his deluxe version predecessor as well. The only reservation I have about his robot form at all is that his legs end up being really really thick, but hey, he's got to store a lot of metal somewhere.

The transformation itself is entirely different from the deluxe version too which was a welcome surprise. He features three different gun noises and lights which is pretty cool. I have transformed him several times and have not had any issue with damage (most of these you won't if you take just a smidge of care). The only problem at all I've had is that the red light in the end of his main turret quit working almost as soon as I used it. My guess is a loose wire. Not a deal breaker by any means as all else works perfectly.

Overall I'd say that he's a fun, cool looking and dynamic toy to own.

This is my first HMM model and maybe the only one I get because that fact they are rather expensive. I would like to get the red Blade Liger sometime in the furure.

This model, and probably the rest of the HMM models, is definately not for beginners or young children. The pieces are fragile and can break if not you're not careful. It took me hours to finish it, maybe I'm just slow but this is a time consuming model.

Parts do tend to fall off but can be put back on. I used super glue on parts that don't move so they'd stop falling off. No paint or glue is required but you can use glue if you wish. The only really noticable non-painted part is the white on the tail. This model is mostly for display and not really for playing, so giving it to a kid would not be a good idea, unless they rarely played with it and were careful.

I recommend this model for any Zoids fan, like myself, especially Liger fans. It's worth the money but make sure you have a lot of free time and patience to build it. It's also handy to have a small but sharp pair of scissors to cut of the not needed plastic parts or to cut the pieces off the frames.

This works great for our friends autistic child. It allowed him to experiment with balance at a low speed and them slowly test lifting his feet up onto the foot pegs as he got more confidence . We also let someone who never rode a bike before try it She was 55 and in no time she was balancing on it. With a little time she will be pedaling. This is the only bike like it out there and fills a niche.

Christmas presents for my two boys each gone a tank, they worked great, only problem for the future is you must specify that the merchant send two different crystal frequencies or both tanks will work with one remote. TPA was fantastic, they shipped me a new crystal free of charge, and once I received it and changed it the tanks work faultlessly. We're having a great time painting the tank commanders as well. I can't stress enough how detailed these things are, really a wonderful present for anyone that enjoys WWII memorabilia. The boys TWIN 7 YEAR OLDS ARE GOING CRAZY FOR THESE! Thank you TPA. I will be buying other tanks to enhance our collection.

2013 HASA 21 Speed Kids Mountain Bike (SHIMANO) 24 INCH Pink Review

The quality is way better than a department store brand. To get similar features and quality at a specialty bike shop you would pay about $450.00. I think that it is a great value if you know how to assemble and adjust mountain bikes and components. We got a lot for our money. The reason that I would not give it 5 stars is that the seat post clamp fell apart during shipping. If you are not savvy with bikes I would recommend having a bike shop assemble. Your child will most likely have a better running bike than the one from WalMart.
