This is a good FPV design and a fast and stable flier.

The description says "put together by screws only". This is true but you get a bag of unmarked screws and you'll have to figure out where they go. The extra screws left-over will make you feel like you missed something. Also, the servo horn back plates did not arrive with the package. Apparently the missing horn back plates is a common occurance according to others who have bought the Raptor. If that happens just use eposy or make improvised plates out of a plastic sheet.

Due to propeller not being angeled there is a subtantial lever arm effect induced by the trust right at take off. After the Raptor get a little speed the wing lift forces quickly overcome and the plane rises but I always have a brief tense moment right after takeoff.

Make sure to give this nylon beast a good throw.

The stock 2812 motor is surprisingly powerful for its tiny size. It has more than enough thrust to propel the Raptor at high speeds. You can also run this stock motor at 4s but make sure to not throttle at 100% too long or you will over-heat the motor.

The Walzmart 2217-6 1500kV is more powerful and drops right in place. The screws are the same position. You can then add a 8x6 3 blade propeller with the m ore powerful motor. Change out the 30amp ESC with a 40amp, you won't regret it.

With more bigger motor and more thrust I can load my Raptor up to 4 lbs of gear.

This plane flies fast and stable. At full trottle you easily reach 60+ mph.

With stock motor I get 25 minutes flight time with 2200mAh Tenergy battery pack and no other equipment. The stock 1800mah battery is intentionally weighted heavier. I recommend replacing with high capacity stock 2200mah + for the extra weight for more flight time. This plane will easily handle 5000mah of batter for a 45+ minute flight time. Even with 2200mah, the center of gravity is too far back. This plane would probably fly best with two 2200 mah in series.

The nylon body is slippery with much less drag than foam. The nylon will not tolerate being throttled into the ground like z-foam or EPO.

The remote conrol is good quality. The receiver seems decent quality.

The servos seems cheapo and I think they should be replaced if using expensive FPV gear. The cheap stock servos will likely fail if given too much stress.

Again, make sure to replace the 30amp ESC with 40amp+ if you plan to fly this bird with extra gear. The 30amp is not strong enough. Also make sure to re-inforce motor housing if replacing the motor with a stronger one, otherwise your mount will fly apart during launch !
