I ordered the Our Generation toy horse Cooper Cream, expecting it to look as is pictured, posed in the pictured stance with the cream colored markings on the face and front legs. The horse SHOULD resemble the one pictured both in the ad and in the story. I was very disappointed to receive a solid brown horse with no cream colored markings in a different pose. Target could offer no explanation nor correct the problem. Buyer beware! What you see is NOT what you'll get!!!

Pacific Cycle Dodge Police Car-12V Review

My three kids, ages 2, 3, and 8, all play with this car and love it.
Pros:
The added features (lights, sirens, police scanner) are fantastic, realistic, and fun. And the light that indicates the battery power level is nice for mom and dad!
The car is sturdy, powerful, and beautiful. On high speed, can make it over almost any bump, even while driving up a hill.
The kids can't get enough of it. A little pricey, but worth it.
The battery lasts a decent amount of time when fully charged - they play with it every day for at least a hour straight and it lasts almost a week that way. however, it is recommended that you do not let the battery run out before you recharge. recharge after every use for max performance.
Cons:
Seatbelts would be nice - my 2 year old rides shotgun when the 3 year old is driving, and there is so much room in the seat that the little one gets tossed around going over bumps and running into stuff.
The doors are difficult to open and close; possibly a safety feature, but if that's the case, then why no seatbelts?
The number one con: IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A REPLACEMENT BATTERY CHARGER. Do NOT lose yours!!! Ours was misplaced, and I spent at least 3 hours searching the internet for a replacement, which cost about 44 bucks. None of the stores (online or otherwise) that sell this car sell a replacement charger, which seems kind of asinine to me. I sifted through endless websites with discussions on the topic of finding a replacement charger, modifying other chargers to fit, and selling every kind of 12v battery and charger under the sun except this one. I finally found one at [...]. It was all quite annoying.
Despite that, overall, we love this car and would recommend it.

Plan Toys Eco Town Deluxe Adventure Set with Bonus Light Rail Train Review

We bought a version of this with no tracks, but the train conveniently fits on our Brio tracks. This is a very sturdy set and our son (just turned three), who loves make-believe, has added it to the beloved Brio set to create an even more exciting pretend world. He gets lost in taking the people on adventures. We will add other Plan City toys (he has the parking garage and fire station) to this set, as it seems it will be well worth the investment. I can see him using it for years, and will hopefully be passed down with my husband's old Brio set to our grandchildren. (Side note, because it wasn't clear when I bought this: the mat is a nice, thick canvas material.)

President Barack Obama Collectible Action Figure Review

I purchased this immediately after the inauguration of our 44th President. It was my own personal way of celebrating the historical occasion. DiD is a company known for producing quality military figures and accessories, and they've done a remarkable job of creating a 1/6 scale version of President Obama. The figure comes with three sets of hands, two heads, a real wooden stool, mirocphone and a US flag complete with a stand and tassels. His clothing is a bit wrinkled coming out of the package, but I ironed it and redressed the figure so that it is now more presentable. The shoes are of good quality and have real laces. You have a the choice to dress him in a red or blue tie, and they've even given him a flag lapel pin and dress watch. The figure has pretty good articulation. Keeping in mind that the he's not intended for "action", the level of articulation is good enough to strike presidential poses. The head sculpts look much better in person that the internet images. The likeness is definitely there and he does look like Barack Obama in hand. The closed-mouth head does edge out the open-mouth head in overall likeness. I picked up an extra DiD Obama body and plan to build another figure based on the loose accessories. My only major gripe would be the overall quality of the suit. It's difficult to attain perfection in a suit at this scale, especially if it's mass produced. There are custom suits that can be purchased that are made in limited quantities and are high in detail and quality, but they would cost you more than suits made at 1:1 scale! I was able to make the suit presentable after taking an iron to it, so it's not so bad. In a day and age of action figures costing up to $200 and more, you get a nice quality figure for a reasonable cost here.

Record and Play (4095) Review

I have a ton of LEGOs, including a Mindstorm and a Spybot, so what's different about the Record & Play? The core of this set is the brick with two motors with integrated rotation sensors. Push the red button and push the robot through it's moves (up to 20 seconds). Then hit the green button to play it back. It plays back fairly accurately, although it is a bit jerky (it doesn't play the motors slow, but short bursts of fast). As a bonus, the tail end of the brick has a shaft input that does the same thing as pressing the play button every time the axle turns. This is useful for building something that has the motor block hidden inside, making the buttons hard to reach, or for making the 'bot respond to some stimulus (My next plan is for a passing LEGO train to flip a lever, causing the shaft to turn, which will trigger the playback to lower and then raise the crossing gates). There is an on-off switch on the bottom, and the robot will remember it's programming even when turned off, as well as an auto-shutoff if left alone for 10 minutes to save batteries.

Normal play mode runs through the actions once and stops. Hold down the play button for a couple seconds and it switches to mode 2, which repeatedly plays the commands forwards and backwards. Pretty cool. Do it again to get into mode 3, which repeatedly plays the commands forwards. This is very handy too.

The 192-page book shows how to build five models: a bug that hops along on two wheels and 2 legs, a dog with 3 wheels, a pen plotter, a 4 legged crab with claws, a standing-up walking robot, and a drummer. Much briefer instruction are shown for a dune buggy, a catamaran walking bug thing, tractor, a grabber, a block thrower, and a card dealer (and probably a few more).

The other pieces included in the set are fairly standard, a nice mix between Technic and standard bricks in pleasing tan and greens (lime and forest). The only really new piece is a right angle 1:1 gear box. Two are included in the set.

I like the fact that there is no real programming involved, no computer required, and it is very quick to get the bot moving. The kit has LEGO's usual excellent quality throughout.

Rollerblade Men's Crossfire 90 Fitness Skate, Black/Red, Men's US 7.5 Review

I have put less than 100 miles on these skates and they are already beginning to fall apart. The housing around the axles is not part of the frames and now slips left and right and makes in near impossible to rotate the wheels because you cannot remove the axle. The ankle strap has also begun to unravel and the Velcro is separating from the strap material. I have stitch the Velcro back on now but it doesn't look like it will last much longer.

I attempted to contact the Rollerblade with my issues, since they are under warranty, but it took over a week to get a response from an actual person. After answering and sending a second email it has been more than a week waiting for another response. It is the worst service I have ever received for an item that costs near 200 dollars.

I will update this review as soon as the representative finishes helping me/not helping me with my problems.
