This is a work of art. The board is solid and the pieces have a great feel. It's heavy - surprisingly heavy. It's also very well packed - this company clearly cares about quality and I appreciate that!

I gave this set 4 of 5 for one reason. The only thing I wish were different was the trim framing the board. The picture indicates a coppery/wood finish. It is more a royal and navy marbled blue (much darker than the blue squares on the board). I am a designer by profession so I am very particular, and this unbalances the beauty of the board. I hope they update the image to reflect this. I will post my own once it is officially opened for Christmas.

Bottom line - if you like bold, blue, and beautiful, I'm sure you will love this set.
