Cover Girls of the DC Universe: Zatanna Statue Review

It seems appropriate that Zatanna is the focus of this wonderful 10" DC Cover Girls porcelain statue, as she appears nothing short of magical in this phenomenal rendition of artist Adam Hughes' cover for "Catwoman # 58." Zatanna Zatara, the Justice League's resident sultry sorceress, has never appeared so stunning.

This was my first purchase from the ongoing DC Cover Girls series, and I was definitely impressed by both the superb craftsmanship and precise detailing put forth in this statue. Clearly, DC Direct spent the necessary time and effort to make this limited edition collector's item worthy of its current price. Further, having being admittedly burned in the past by deceptive advertising, I believe the promotional photos here absolutely do Zatanna's statue, pardon the expression, "justice," as they display exactly what you would be purchasing.

However, as a `buyer beware' to fellow consumers, I will note purchasing this item may not be easy as it sounds. I had pre-ordered this statue a few months ago, and then, to my surprise, I was informed last week that it wasn't currently available, even though the announced release date was in late August. Presumably, the lack of on-line supplies has been corrected by now (or will be soon), so that you can still snag one of only 5,000 copies produced for this statue's circulation run. I frankly consider myself most fortunate that I was still able to track a copy down.

With that thought in mind, I heartily recommend this statue as a valued treasure for any Zatanna fans and for those with a timeless appreciation for super hero comic books. With an assist from your trusty keyboard, you can give a magical command of "Make this fantastic statue appear!!," or as Zatanna would cheerfully exclaim, "ekaM [...] citsatnaf raeppa!!"

And, presto, this statue shall appear (in a few weeks, of course).

DC Direct DC Universe Online Statue: Green Arrow Review

I didn't used to be a fan of Green Arrow. Not sure why really. But as I fell in love with Black Canary, he obviously was in the stories more and more. LOL Eventually when they got their own series, and after reading Kevin Smith's masterpiece (Green Arrow: Quiver (Book 1)), Green Arrow started to grow on me. Once I started playing Dc Universe Online, I decided to start collecting these statues. (DC Universe Online Collector's Edition) I have a neat little thing I do in my library. Whatever collection of books I have on whichever shelf, I have statues of those characters in front of the books. So my Green Arrow collection has this Green Arrow statue in front of it. And it's gorgeous.
So okay, down to the business of the review. Once I saw that darn bow when I opened the box, I was TERRIFIED I was going to break it. It's very small and fragile, and it uses actual string for the bow. But the statue is packed so well that you'd have to drop kick it into a brick wall to get it to break. The ONLY way you're breaking that bow is if you're Mr. or Ms. Clumsy-Fingers when opening the box and removing the statue. LOL It is well wrapped, and unwraps easily once it comes out of the box. And viola, I had my statue. It really is a beautiful statue, and if you're a Green Arrow fan, then I think this item is a must have. It's also a good sized statue for the price. It is VERY limited edition, so I recommend you buy it now before the price skyrockets. To that note, these items ALWAYS skyrocket in price. They're limited edition, as I said, and are therefore a GREAT investment. I've got Wonder Woman statues that I paid 100 bucks for and are now worth 10 to 20 times that. So yeah, you're definitely getting a bang for your buck here.

This set is such a great prouduct. It comes in display that looks like the original spaceship headquarters.
Ehen you open it up all the Legionares are displayed in such a way you want to decide where to display them.
Probably the best Legion action, (or since the do not move should that be Inaction figures? ) to ever come out?

I have played baseball (both rec and travel) since I was 6 years old. I am now in the eighth grade and was just selected to play on the 9th grade High School baseball team. Over the years, my parents have purchased several bats (i.e., the Omaha TPX, the Rawlings Liquid Plasma, Nike and countless others). This year instead of using any bat we want, we are required to use a BBCOR baseball bat. After spending several weeks trying to find the BBCOR bat that best suited me, we finally narrowed the field to the Mariucci Cat 5, TPX Omaha, and the Demarini Voodoo. After researching all three, we decided the Demarini Voodoo was right for me. With its professional look, composite barrel, and stunning graphics this bat has become one of my personal favorites. I have used this bat while bating in the cages and in games. This bat has a very good grip and very little vibrations when hitting the baseball. (This alone makes this bat a #1 choice for hitters). Dexton Feigi Princess Playhouse With Floor Quilt Set Review

Great playhouse! Comes with the floor quilt, curtains. Very cute! Assembly wasn't difficult, but had to pinch the metal poles a bit to make them stay strongly in the tubes. Kind of hard to stretch it over the frame, its tight, but it is really nice when finished. My 2 kids love it! We put throw pillows in it and they read, play school, play house, etc in this playhouse. Great price for the quality.
