This is my daughters new nap pillow. It wasn't bought for that purpose. My 5 yr old fell in love with the mermaid half a year ago, the mermaid has a kind of simplistic charm that seemed to inspire her. When christmas came around I went ahead and spent the money I otherwise would not and bought this mermaid. Luckily amazon had it for much less than the local store. She is cute. and very huggable, and well made. She has a pillow like feel to her which is perfect. she gets folded in half into my daughters backpack, and used as her pillow for naptime, then folded back up brought home, dragged around the house by the hair, danced with so that the hair twirls, and finally being slept on top of at bedtime. Time will tell how durable she really is, but I feel like she will hold up to a lot of abuse. what more can you ask for?
