This is a cool toy set. We payed only $130 for it at Toys R Us, just another example here like the MF of dealers jacking the prices; I would suggest anyone who wants any of these Star Wars toys here on Amazon to check out Toys R Us, Target and Walmart at their web sites or in person first. They often carry these toys as exclusives at the manufacturers recommended price and almost always ship for free to your local store, which is almost always much less than the dealers on here want for it who 90% of the time have done nothing but go to one of these stores and by all the products like this they have in stock so they can sell it at outrageous prices here, well you can do the same thing if you want it as well. Now on to the toy, this was a really good deal (for $130, not so much for $189, you can get both toys separately for less) for both toys. The only dig I have with this is that the wings on this new X-wing do not open very far with the new mechanism and you are forced to hold the fighter from the back (probably the way most hold it anyway) using your hand to get the wings to be open as far as they should, also the wing guns fall off very easily so plan on losing them if you do not keep a close eye on them while you play, almost like you would the guns that come with the figures. Also as the ship is so large (over 2x as big as the original) it comes in many pieces with the wings snapping on at mid point making them not set as well as they should. This also makes the whole thing come apart quite easily. If you are wanting an X-wing toy this is a good choice or the Daghoba set which is very cool as well. The Darth Vader Tie has no real issues and is just as nice and detailed as the X-wing. Just keep in mind this is much larger than the original and may be a little big for small hands to fly around the galaxy (living room) especially trying to hold the wings open while doing it.
