About the figures:
Mini figures from the hit anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! Set of 10 figures. Each figure is carefully crafted and painted. They each come with their own stand and speech bubble.

Characters included:
Atem: Atem is an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh who sealed his soul within the Millennium Puzzle. His soul took on the identity of Yami Yugi.

Seto: Seto is one of the seven high priests that guard the Millennium Items, and is the first cousin of Pharaoh Atem.

Thief King Bakura: Bakura, King of Thieves, or simply Bakura, is a character and the villain in the sixth arc (third arc in the manga) of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.

Marik Ishtar: Marik is the leader and founder of the Rare Hunters, younger brother of Ishizu Ishtar and heir to the Tomb Keepers.

Yami Marik: Yami Marik, known as Dark Marik in the manga and Japanese versions, is Marik Ishtar's second personality created by his own inner hatred and pain.

Ishizu Ishtar: Ishizu is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and the second series anime.

Dark Magician: Dark Magician, known as Black Magician in the Japanese versions, is a character version of the card. Dark Magician was created when Mahad fused his ba with "Illusion Magician", his ka while fighting Thief King Bakura.

Dark Magician Girl: Dark Magician Girl, known as Black Magician Girl in the Japanese version, is often used as a card in many of Yugi's Duels, but has also appeared as a monster spirit on various occasions.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon: Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a character version of the card. Blue-Eyes White Dragon was the monster ka spirit of Kisara.

One Coin Grande Figure Collection Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters Ancient (10 mini figures full set) [JAPAN] Review

I recently bought this set, and I'm extremely satisfied with it. Besides the fact that it contains the only legitimate figure of my favorite character (Yami/Evil Marik), the rest of the set is excellent. The secret figure the set comes with also fits well with the theme of the set, but I'll keep that a surprise for you to discover yourselves.

PROS:
- RIDICULOUSLY detailed. The figures are very small (~2 inches), but this doesn't detract from the figures' detail at all. You see how Yami Marik is holding cards and a duel disk? The cards have yellow borders and black spots on the back--just like in the show--and on their fronts, there's even a small, black rectangle to represent the picture on the cards, as well as a black border. Kotobukiya didn't forget any little thing with these guys!
- These guys look excellent. My favorites of the bunch are Yami Marik and Thief King Bakura. Both look perfect, and TK Bakura is perhaps the most detailed of the figures with all the golden jewelry and clothing he's wearing.
- The bases are all customized to suit their character, or some other aspect. For instance, Dark Magician and DM Girl have pentagrams on their bases, while Pharaoh Yugi has a hieroglyph of the Winged Dragon of Ra. Malik has the Millennium Rod, while Isis has her Necklace.
- Dark Magician actually "floats" off of his base, and is supported only by his cape and staff. I thought this was an excellent touch.
- The painting and sculpting on these guys is truly professional. I didn't see one drop of misplaced paint, or any other mistakes anywhere.
- Their heads can be switched! This is fun to do when you're bored.
- These guys also come packed individually in blind boxes. Kotobukiya made sure that they'd be safe--they're sealed in hard plastic, then further wrapped in soft plastic to prevent scratches. Their feet are even protected with little pieces of hard plastic, which can be removed.
- Opening the whole set in one sitting is pretty fun to do, as well.
- The fact that Yami Marik is in this set is a pro all its own.

CONS:
- Like I said, they are tiny. I had my doubts about purchasing the whole set because of this, but I decided that the detail made up for it. If size is a problem for you, you might not want to buy this set.
- BEWD may be able to come off of his stand, but he can't really balance on his own.
- Because of the size of the figures, I'm nervous about switching out their heads sometimes.
- These are DEFINITELY not for kids. Don't buy them for young children, because they will be broken, and they do come with small parts. They aren't action figures by any means. (This isn't necessarily a con, though.)
- I would've liked the secret figure to be Rishid/Odion (to complete the Ishtar family), but I suppose that the one they gave us still fits with the set.

Overall, I'm more than satisfied with this set. If you have a friend who loves Yu-Gi-Oh, this would be a great gift for them. Or for yourself, for that matter!
