Received my full sized Classic Wasp statue today, and I am disappointed with it. The statue is serial numbered 700 of 700, so I am wondering if the production level goes down the higher the number you get. I love the Jason Smith sculpt, it is the production I am bothered with.

First of all I was having a devil of time getting the peg into the stand. After a couple of minutes I used a flashlight to look into the peg hole. There I found (and dug out) a piece of plastic that was keeping the peg from going all the way in. Even with the peg flush the other foot does not touch the base. It should.

Second, the right wing does not fit correctly despite the magnets. It is an easy fix, but I don't want to have to fix it. I feel it should stay put without me having to make modifications.

Lastly, and most importantly, I am very disappointed with the paint job. I have orange bleeding through the Wasp's red top, and where the Wasp's face meets her hair is poorly done.

For a statue with a $200 MSRP, I expect the best of the best and flawless detail. I did not get that with this version of the Wasp.
